Mechworks Command Shell

Introduction

MechworksPDM exposes itself to scripting languages in order to allow any user to pilot the application externally, typically from a scripting language in a custom routine.

Such routines are normally associated to events in the edit dialog but may also be called from custom forms. As a result the PDM can launch .VBS files prepared for the WSCRIPT.EXE host engine.

In particular, any .VBS file present in the LST\ sub-directory of DBWorks is now listed with an entry in the main DBWorks->Utility->... sub-menu.
