Management of SQL Server disconnection
In case of database disconnection, the ActivityConsole reports it:
All the MechWorks PDM functionalities are suspended:
The user can then work on files that are accessable and writeable (NEW or CHECKED-OUT state).
When the connectivity is available again (this must be verified manually, outside PDM task), then the function RECONNECT, available from the bar menu UTILITY submenu, must be clicked for reconnecting MechWorks PDMto the database:
The Activity Console will report if the connection is successful or not:
