The BOM of revisions
MechworksPDM can create a Bill of Materials for previous revisions of Assemblies.
Creating a BOM for a previous version
To create a BOM for a previous revision, open the revisions dialog, then:
1.Select a (previous) revision
2.Click the BOM button
Why do i get an errror when I try to create the BOM?
If you tried create a BOM for a revision created with a previous version of MechworksPDM, you would get the error message:
The message is due to the fact that .tree files have recently undergone structure modifications and previously created .tree files don't convey sufficient information for recreating the bill of materials.
Unfortunately there's no workaround to this limitation.
