The command 'Check in'

images_icons_DBW_ID_MENU_CHECKINCheck In

After bringing about your modifications, with this command you stop working on the document and allow other users to take charge of it for editing.

Please note the different mode of the button:

simple images_icons_DBW_ID_MENU_CHECKIN : checkin of the currently opened model

SHIFT + images_icons_DBW_ID_MENU_CHECKIN : Check-in the part/assembly and all the components (Recursive checkin)

CTRL + images_icons_DBW_ID_MENU_CHECKIN : Check-in and submit to Workflow (if enabled)

When checkin in a model with multiple linked drawings, it is kept opened during all the checkin phase, so the drawings won't need to load the model every time they are opened.
At the end of the checkin phase, the model is then closed.

This command is available both in popup menus and in the toolbar as a button images_Buttons_07_24.
