Mechworks PDM includes a support for Assembly SpeedPak configurations
Despite of the fact is not intended to be a full covering for the feature, the Mechworks PDM has this support added:
•Any configuration ending with the suffix _speedpak is not inserted in the database
•Any assembly component in SpeedPak configuration is not traversed and the parent configuration record is considered instead for the parent-child relation.
Suppose you have an assembly with 3 configurations (100, 200 and 300).
Only configurations 100 has been registered in the database, and configuration 200 has a speedpak one, that's currently active:

If you save with DBWorks save, nothing happens since speedpak configuration 200 is skypped
On the other side, if you switch to configuration 200 and you click save button, it will be properly registered in the database:

the same management is granted to _flexible configurations too
