The message file !!NEWREC.!!! is created in the shared USERS directory when MechworksPDM is in the Input Form for creating a new document.
The file is subsequently removed when the Input Form is exited.
The existance of this file can be checked by Part Number Generation script to avoid a new part number to be generated while other users on the network are creating a new number. The file contains the USER identifier of the designer who is creating the new record.
